I spent most of this morning paying for last night's Chinese food :( Once I did get up and moving I went grocery shopping to restock all my healthy stuff. I made a big vat of salsa for the week, more salad, more Tahini Lime dressing, my black bean/black olive/taco seasoning concoction. I boiled 5 ears of corn, cut it off the cob and (besides eating 1 ear's worth) packaged it up to make a black bean/quinoa recipe tomorrow. Then I took Lucy for a 2-mile walk and that's about it.

I need a dressing recipe, the Tahini Lime sounds awesome! Off to search for it..:)
Hi Laura! I always feel so much worse when I deviate off my normal food. I know why I do it--because I remind myself that I CAN do that, but that is a small point. If I eat extra carbs, I feel older in my joints, just more sluggish too--for the whole next day. I'm never sure that's worth the freedom.

@Michele: 1 cup tahini, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup lime juice, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp agave. Mix well and store in air-tight container. That's it :)
@Marion: You're right- it's not worth it. Kinda like drinking. I used to think it was fun to go out and get drunk and act like a complete idiot. But the way I felt the next day was enough to make me quit drinking altogether.
I understand what you mean about paying for the previous day's food. It happens, but it sounds like you're back on track.
Thanks E. Jane :) I am mostly back on track, but I've noticed that I've been more hungry the last couple days. I'm reaching for extra veggies instead of junk so at least there's that, heh.
